Seen some loading data for the 50cal that listed both FFg and FFFg....I realize that the FF is finer so should ignite faster...i think.. but is tere a diffrence? Should one use FFg in a rifle? thanks all

Dang missed that! "F" cannon, real big flakes, "ffff" very fine, pan powder.

  5. The more F's smaller the grain size, I have been a traditional perc. shooter for years and find little difference between FFg and FFFg regardless of load size, thats just me, it goes back again to the basics tune your piece to whats best for IT. mac muzz are you there you old meat maker? bet you can add some of you flintish wisdom. huh? sixbyfive
