It never snows during deer season here. It would make it too easy to track deer.

I love hunting in the snow, it seems to be about a 50/50 chance around here each year.

If it's snowing where I have drawn tags in the past you had better be getting your arse off the mountain ASAP or you'll be there until spring. Several miles back in the mountain wilderness and the road going up has a bunch of switchbacks and several 400'-500' straight down drops. Nothing but poorly graded dirt roads and no railing.
