Looks like a good day. What is the size limit in Missouri Oxford. Here in NC we have a 10 inch size limit, which seems to be a decent eating size as well. Sometimes we catch crappies up to 14 inches long though. Only problem with catching them that fast is you can't keep no more that day once you reach your limit.

Nice Ox! When are the fillets going in the hot oil?

  7. Wo Hoo! Peanut oil season. You've had some nice catches lately, Store them spots on GPS, and you're set. We felt that way yesterday, the catfish were biting, we caught 5 and I caught a bluegill, and a nice bass. Then it was the water> flour> egg> panco> peanut oil party.

Nine inches is the minimum length in the Lake where I fish. So...all the fish I've posted are that long or longer. The longest fish caught was the 15 1/2" crappie that my buddy caught this summer.
