    Hi all,
Ordnance testing on the M1 Garand in 1944 was done by taking one (1) M1 Rifle from each lot of 5,000 rifles. That rifle was sent for an Endurance Test. The rifle had to fire 6,000 rounds to pass the test. At the same time M1 clips were tested. The Quiz is how were the clips tested?

The answer is "...20 clips selested for the test in rotation, so that approximately 300 rounds will be fired from each clip."
