"Gators have right of way."

    This isn't funny, but is interesting. The news ran a story of a guy further south in Florida who hit a gator as it was crossing the road. His pickup truck flipped and rolled, killing him. The reporter warned us that this is breeding season, and the lizards are on the move, seeking mates. As he said, the gators have the right of way!

    Snakes feed on about anything

    Here in northeastern Missouri, snakes are coming out of hibernation. I picked one up last week by his tail. It was so stiff that he could hardly move.

    On the other hand, most snakes around here are all heading to the bar association convention in Jefferson City or D.C. where they feed on about anything that has $$$.
