Too camp, canoe and fish Gitche Gume has been a lifelong dream

Uncle Bobber, our son and I hit Lake Superior the last three days for open water fishing. Ice wasn’t quite out but we’re die hard anglers. Cold too.
The lake was flat as can be. No winds until about noon so we fished hard in the mornings.
We landed many Coho salmon, one Lake trout, several Brown trout and a nice Rainbow.
Had salmon for dinner today. Smoking some trout next week.
