Glock 22

I recently bought a used Glock 22 for $230. It is in excellant condition. I read in one of the gun forums on this model about the 22 "blowing up". Is this fact or fiction? I really am not going to let it bother me, but, I am wondering why those guys would post such a thing if it were not true? I have just a little worry.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've been carrying Glock 22 and 23 for a few years now. There was talk about Glocks blowing up, and I'm sure that it did happen somewhere, but I don't remember what the cause was alleged to be. 60% of all law enforcement officer carry Glock, according to an article I read recently. That's a pretty re-assuring number.....
