Hallo, wie gehts?!

Hello friends, my name is Faeryn. (Pronounced Fair-Un, it's of Pagan origin, means 'of the faeries'). I am a house-chick/writer from the Great Pacific Northwest, recently transplanted to southern Arizona. (Big change!) I am a second supporter and enthusiast, with emphasis on the 1911. (Emphasis meaning obsession.)

I am a proud, responsible, legal, card-carrying owner and carrier, and very proud to have a significant other who dedicated a decade to serving us in our military and another decade (and still counting) risking his life for us every single day as a dedicated law enforcement officer.

I am here to network with like-minded folk and to learn about something I'm not all too familiar with.... the .40 caliber. As my SO's service weapon is currently a .40 caliber, we have in excess of 4,000 rounds of .40 caliber ammo. Before I get another 1911, at his request we need to purchase a .40 caliber for me to carry and plink off a few thousand rounds AND THEN we can look into a new 1911 for me. (Cross your fingers for a Nighthawk, friends! I'll be a good girl, I promise!)
