And quite obviously that stock is not original. That screw sticking out would open up your face like a can opener.

Were you able to find any markings on it? If yes, then closeups would help.
That must be one of those 80% ghost guns. Just kidding. Yeah that has been through hell and reinforced with metal it looks like and a different stock just screwed to it and no fit at all. Usually the proof marks and others are under the barrels where the fore stock is missing.
The shape of the lock plate and hammers (that someone has welded a piece of scrap to) strongly hints at Belgian origin. Needs to see the marks to make sure. Probably started out as a hardware store gun, and is now mostly hardware.
