We live 5 minutes from there. Big T is gone.Oh man, I'm an oldster.
I remember the Big T Truck Stop that was in E Town many years ago. It was a Union 76 (Unocal) but it was ran by a franchisee I think, because their mom & pop restaurant was unlike any other one in the USA. Great food prepared to order and extremely reasonable prices. Even when I got out of the interstate transportation business 11 years ago there were very few decent places where a driver could sit down and get decent food. Now most of those truck stops just have 2 or 3 fast food joints on their premises and hardly any full service restaurants. I'm glad I'm not out there anymore.
