Okay, so here is the deal.
I have the itch to further expand my collection, but I am torn between:

a Russian SKS for $300 (matching, original, sling incl., no elctro, VG cond)

a Finn Mosin M39 for $239 (matching*, VG-ish, Orig. sling incl, sighted in)

a Westinghouse Mosin 91 for $199 (good to VG cond, non-matching)

*I believe it is all matching, the elevation sight piece doesn't have the same number, but it matches the number of the other M39 he has, so I am curious to if it is just a manufacture number or something, help appreciated in this area as well :) )

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Go sell a Kidney or sell Plasma to buy all of them and No I'm not kidding.
You may not ever have this opportunity again.

Ain't it the Chits that you can't buy all of them !!!! Are you getting a 600 dollar check in June or May from Uncle Sugar ???
Use that money too, have a garage sale or worst go hang out at a little old ladies buity shops and sell yourself to them LOL !!!
Because you need to buy all these guns...A.H

My current collection consists of:

BNZ '42 Russian Capture K98
Steyr m95 carbine
Mosin Nagant Izhevsk 1944 m44
Mosin Nagant Tula 1940 m1891/30
1943 Remington 1903/A3
Schmidt-Rubin K31
Lee-Enfield No4 Mk1 (FTR '47)
And last but not least, a CMP M1 Carbine Service grade should be arriving in a month or two :)

Now maybe you see my dilemma...

It's a tough choice ,but it depends on what you have already.Go with the one you like the most.(If it were me, I would go with the FINNISH)

well at least we can all agree is should be between the sks and the m39. i think im changeing my vote.... since you have 2 mosins already, and all your guns are bolt action exect for the m1 carbine. i say go with the sks now. but this is a tough choice.

I agree with Mooseman. Buy all 3 if you can.

If not, then just buy 2, the Russian SKS and the Finn M39.

If you can only afford 1, then get the Russian SKS.

The Russians built a lot more SKS's than the Finns built M-39's, get the '39 and look for the others later. The Westinghouse is also much rarer than the SKS. Just my .02...

The finn M39 may or may not be that great of a deal. SOG has VKT Valmets for $259 and Sako's for $299. So if it's a Finn or a B barrel it's a good deal.

The other 2 are a lot harder to come by these days, so I would vote for the SKS.

Just my 5 cents worth (inflation).

Well the SKS is out.
I waited around too long. (it was on Auction Arms hehehe)
But the other two are at a local gun shop. I think I might see if he will cut me a deal for both, because he is about as cool as they come.

Thanks for the thoughts guys!!

P.S. I am guessing that the Westinghouse not matching isn't a huge deal since it is so rare... I mean, it would be more valuable obviously, but it'll do. Thoughts?

P.S.S. I forgot to mention that the M39 has a decently large, green, two-digit number painted on the butt. Will this deduct value? And it is a 1940s VKT btw.
