Hey Klaus where is that picture of your Hesse AK you were talking about.
Hesse Model 47
Here is a photo of the Model 47 in .223. Sorry, I forgot about it. I also have a M-16 mag adapter, but like this style better.
Note: It is an AKM variant, not AK-74, despite the muzzle brake.
Why is the mag red Klaus...I always wondered that.
Nice looking machine.
Mags are red on the 74's so you don't confuse them with the 47 mags.
The mag is made of a reddish brown fiberglass material and steel. It think it is a version of the AK 74 mag since the 74 round is close to the .223 in size.
I'd love to see a picture with the AR-mag adaptor and a mag.
OK, will get one. Also just got a SAR-1 and some mags, including a drum.
Here is a photo of the Hesse with the M-16 mag adapter and standard 30 rd mag. It is a left view to show the magazine release. Above it is my brand new SAR-1 with a 75 rd drum. It was $360 and the mag was $99. The rifle came with a 40 rd mag and a 10 rounder. The stock has beutiful wood. I may refinish it though.
Hint: My photos have good resolution. Enlarge them to at least full screen to see the details.
