Well as with any caliber a lighter weight bullet will fly faster and flatter. But what kind of distances are you looking at that would help then I could look at some tables and see where the 230 stands in relation to the rest.
I have shot out to 75ft. with my usp 40 tactical, and at least 50ft with my p2000 both have performed as I expect the finest handguns in the world to perform.
I reload using Hornady .45ACP 200grn Target/Combat (fully encapsulated) semi-waddcutter on top of 6.9grn of VIHT N-340. I think it is about 900fps, but I dont have a chrony (will get one when I get back home).
I can make a slow well placed head shot at 25yrds with this ammo out of my USP .45ACP.
My experience with HK handguns is that they seem to group tighter with lighter loads. Problem is I prefer heavy loads as a Cooper Trooper and Keith disciple, LOL...
