I added a bolt action 7.62 x 39 a few years ago, since I have an AR, AK, and Mini 30 already. It is a great little gun and cheap to shoot. 7.62 x 39 is the only ammo I can buy every day and still pretty cheap, 40 cents each. If you do not have a steady flow of ammo it does not matter, so it make sense to add one in that caliber. It is a great deer killer and in the AR and bolt gun extremely accurate. The mini 30 will shoot about 2 inches, the AK not so much in mine. Probably a better survival round than the 5.56 because of it's better hunting ability. And better than my 300 BLK, which ammo is now $1 per. My 2 cents.Hi everyone. How has everyone been doing ? I have been doing better since I have got some income. I’m hoping to go back to work at the end of the month. I have been buying some prepping supplies as much as possible.
I have finally gotten a new chainsaw .
I also wanted to give a update on the current shortages . Some firearms are getting hard to get hold off. Ammunition is almost no existent. Now I would say a rifle chambered in 7.62 x 39 would be good.
That’s about the only ammunition that I have seen. My local Walmart has been getting some canning supplies but if your not quick at grabbing what you need then you won’t get it. I haven’t noticed any food shortages.
So I hope everyone is doing ok
