Is it an airgun? From the caliber I'm going to assume so. I don't imagine Savage putting their name on something that wasn't a quality product. It must have a place to mount a scope somewhere, because it has no sights. It has a rather nicely contoured stock with what is more than likely a completely unnecessary recoil pad. I wouldn't imagine it having any perceivable recoil. Just from the caliber alone, i wouldn't use it on anything but small game. Slap a scope on it, and put a target at 25 yards and shoot it, and see how accurate it is. If it's really accurate and you get really good with it, you could probably use it for squirrel hunting, and rodent control.
