hmm...I tried one of those online translators (they suck) but this is what it gave me:

Me e-mail have just I a list with production data of the garand. and a site which you see can perhaps of which the garand been is.

now go figure :rolleyes:

or you can rack back the op rod, and look in the op rod slot in the stock. there should be a date on the barel.

Barrel date means nothing if it was rebarelled as many or most were. The serial # is going to be on a production date which can be found close to in Scott Duffs book's or by Ed CLancy's papers which is actual arsenal files. Hope this helps. RIck B

sorry for my last message

Sorry for my last message in dutch . This one and the next and next ect ect. are in english. the translator wasn't that bad .I sayd that if he will mail me his serial of the garand I will thell him the production date and mayby where his garand went to after fabrication. navy/infantry or marines ect.
