Ok fellas, I've been wanting to post a link to a specific place on Google Earth and preferably the actual image but can't figure out how to do either one. Any tips for a novice?

  2. If you can't save the image or link drectly to it somehow you could always take a screen shot with the "Prnt Scrn" button. Then right click and paste into whatever photo type program you have, Paint, Photoshop, or even good ol Word and save as whatever you want.

Barring that if you have a program called Snipping Tool on your compture you can use that to select an image or part of the screen to save. It saves ya the hassel of cropping and editing out other things when you can just select the specific region.

Not quite whatcha asked but...only tried Earth early on before it could be used with Maps so thats the only option we had.
