...so I found one of the last Auto Ordnance Parkerized 1911s. AO stopped producing the Parkerized finish, and only does the black oxide on their GI replica 1911s.

Picked it up this morning, cleaned the packing goo off. Haven't fired it yet. The shop had two vintage Colts that I held this up next to and it's a pretty darn good copy. Wide spur hammer, different trigger, different rollmarks, same WWII look.
