Wonder why it is that some poeple have nothing but trouble with Glocks. Others never have a problem with them.......

Very true... so far I have only had two failures to feed with my Glock 22 and that was when it was brand new. After a couple clips through it I have had no problems whatsoever. I even got a .357 SIG barrel for it and I really enjoy that round. If any of you guys have sources that I could look up on the internet on Glock catastrophes and horrible failures I'd appreciate it. I'd like to see what exactly happened. I'm a materials engineer so failure analysis is one of my little hobbies.

In my area, I've never heard of anything bad about glocks but if there is something wrong with them I would like to know because I trust my life with this gun.
When I started looking for a handgun back in '97, I went to all the gun stores in the Island and I notice that many of the salesmen had glocks in their waist, the few others had Sig & HK.
Two years later, I decided to buy the handgun and went out again to all the gunstores to shop for prices and to my surprise, all salesmen but one (an old guy with a 1911) had glocks.
I don't know if there was a promotion from glock or not but you have to take into consideration that most of these guys have to buy their own gun.
If anyone has proof of anything wrong with glocks please let me know where to find this information.
I'm not blind for glocks but so far I have no complaints.

the only thing bad I ever heard was about the grip.
they all shoot well enough from my hands. I'm a big fan now.
I wasn't when they first issued one to me in 9mm (17). but when they let me use my 45 (21)I changed my tune.

Because like anything man made, problems pop up & people like complaining more than they do complementing.
