I would create a bunch of aliases.
You got the right idea bro!I would create a bunch of aliases.
Shhhh, don’t say that out loud. And remember, you need special mags for some of those choices, and even mag well adapters for certain ones.I would just get two.
An AR-15 and and AR-10 lower.
What I put on them would not count as a gun, and there are a LOT of choices.
I do like my two Model 39A rifles. Also one of my most accurate long range rifles is an older Win. M70XTR Featherweight in 270.I couldn't pick 5, but my dad always said a man only need 4 guns.
Remington 870
Winchester Model 70 in 30.06
Winchester 39A
S&W Model 10
That collection covers a lot of uses. Deep concealment, maybe not much so. Deer hunting in Indiana, Ohio and Iowa? I don't know. Maybe for the special January antlerless hunt in Iowa where any one of those rifles would be permitted. Dove, duck, grouse, phesant or quail hunting? Hmmmmm. Deer or elk hunting in the western states. Pretty much covered.1) Colt .357 King Cobra Revolver
2) Semi Auto 20G shotgun- high end
3) Marlin ( JM ) 336 in 30-30 or 35 Rem
4) Ruger Mini 30 with upgraded firing Pin ( To shoot all 7.62 ammo)
5) .270 cal Bolt action hunting rifle - The best one i can find that doesn't exceed 6.5 lbs. ( before adding optics)
The 20G works perfectly for the upland game birds you mentioned. It will work for ducks close range. And of course would do slugs for deer, and self defense ( including Bear or Moose defense ) no problem. That collection covers a lot of uses. Deep concealment, maybe not much so. Oh, the .35 Rem would have you covered in Iowa for deer gun seasons.
