    but something different for a change. I've put up a short story called "The Trench" and a silly poem called "The Weapons Shop" for all to enjoy.

    I liked your colorful descriptions. They were vivid and alive. I could almost see myself there experiencing life in the trench.

    Well, I get tired of doing technical stuff. Between my service time and after retirement, all I seemed to do is play with numbers, pressures and repairs. It gets tedious.
    I've done the odd article for magazines, Enfield Digest Antique Arms etc. but they have a small readership. I'm glad I don't do it for the money!
    I've got a few fictional things kicking around. One of these days I'll slap one up for everyone to read.
