Keng

Discussion in 'The Powder Keg' started by alan c., Apr 13, 2002.

  1. I posted a question earlier about a Kane sks. I had the spelling wrong. It's Keng. It's a rolled stamped reciever with a pinned barrel. Excellent craftsmanship. This rifle has a arsenal 66 stamp on it. Now it's my understanding that arsenal 66 didn't produced any pinned barreled rifles. This was one of the first importers of sks's.
Can anyone further my education on this rifle... Thanks and God bless.

  2. Keng's is not a manufacturer, they were an importer that brought alot of Chinese battle rifles into the country.

Whatever you do, don't ever sell it!

That type of SKS is very rare...you can look up more info on it at the SIMONOV.NET website...Good score!
