Kimber Caliber Conversion

I was thinking that rather than buying another entire Kimber, maybe it's possible to convert my existing 45 to 10mm. Seems like all that would be necessary would be a new guide rod spring and barrel. Think Kimber would sell me these alone?

I believe The extractor and the breechface are different.
