A Gold Combat typically runs about the price of a Gold Match, maybe a little more due to the night sights. If you see one in the $1000 range you're probably in the right ballpark. I got mine used and it is a heck of a reliable gun. I was suprised it is the least accurate of the Kimbers (also have a Pro CDP and a Gold Match). Mind you, I like to be able to hold all head shots with a 1911 at 15 yards on a Q target. The Gold Combat will throw one out of the head occasionally where the other two Kimber's won't. It is still 100% reliable and has plenty of combat accuracy. Since mine is used it may even be a little shot out. I may try to have it professionally tightened up one day, but its good for now.
