leapers optic

    any one know this optic for the AR15 ? Leapers 4 x 20, is this used also from the army or it is just a copy. who produce the original one ? with the same look as leapers ? Thanks ciao Ric.
     
  2. It is made in China. But it is good; I've got one and it is very clear.

    I'll second that. Just got mine from Tapco, and it maintains zero, has variable power, and a bullet drop compensator for 100-500 yards. It's an excellent scope for the money... and Tapco is one of the best places to buy anything.

    The original was designed by Colt for Delta. To be used by their operators on the M-16 and M-4 carbine. The Colt scope will run you about two hundred dollars and alittle more for the lighted reticle. I have both but tend to use the Leapers more in the feild as I wont feel so bad if I broke it. But for forty dollars I cant complain it has taken a beating and is still good as new just not as pretty.
