Need to know if any of you load this round? .45 long colt.
Any favorites?..

I reload for that round. But judging from your firearms though, maybe you should either use blackpowder loads or find very mild loads somewhere. I would be very reluctant to offer a loading. GOOD LUCK

I load for the Uberti Schofield as well as others, and I like 200 gr lead round nose with 8 gr of Unique.I also load 35gr of Pyrodex P with 230 gr soft lead, but this only goes in my Ruger. I've tried hot loads in the Ruger, and I think that this is one of the most pleasant to shoot of all big bore cartridges, as even the hot loads have light recoil. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy in the Schofield, under 3.5" at 50 yds.

Five grains of Red Dot behind a 230gr lead SWC is my favorite moderate load for the .45 LC - accurate and not much kick.
