I found a Marlin 336 30/30 w/ a scope in the local ads this morning. He is throwing in some 30/30 ammo. I talked to him, and he has owned it 15 years (has 6 other deer guns, an active hunter).
[The problem] I have some pictures from him that show some scratches on the wood. Not deep but still noticeable. ~$750
The Marlin 336 .45-70 rifle is easy to find in good-great condition here. Some add ammo. It's not a suitable rifle as we hunt in dense woods here, and I like my shoulder too much.
