Just checking to see if anybody would be interested in a M-39 with Russian style scope mount. The rifle is a Sako from 1944, in close to new condition. The mount has a weaver type rail, so you could use almost any kind of scope. I put a Simmons 2.8X10 Aetec to test the rifle, and got great results. If interested, I can send photos and answer your questions by e-mail.

Thanks for the e-mails. to answer your questions, yes I'm aware this rifle did not come with this scope mount installed. No, I did not install it, yes it grouped very well, nothing came loose, yes you can use the iron sights.

    M-39 off market

I got to playing with the rifle, added Caldwell bi-pod and lace-on leather cheekpiece. It just shoots too well to give up. I got a 1 5/8" group @ 200 yards this morning, using handloads.

    Thanks
