Hi all,
In Feb of 1941 Ordnance found out that there was a problem with the clip cutouts at WRA. The clips had been cut in the wrong place and thus 50,000 had to be redone. My quiz is what caused the problem in the first place??

Hi all,
The answer to this one is easy. SA Ordnance had sent to Winchester the wrong cuts for the M1 Garand clips. Winchester had cut about 50,000 clips before the problem was found. Winchester had to recut the clips.
