Is the stock inlet for the pressed in ones? The front typically only had half metal, or none at all.

The bent one can be fixed if you use a small brass hammer and a plastic bag over the metal, lightly tapping to level it out. Takes practice but can be done to fix bent metal.

The discoloration is likely from shellac, and can easily be removed via simply scraping with a plastic knife or using denatured alcohol.

I'd get those if I needed them, they look serviceable and easy enough to get in good order again.

I have two is all that came off a stock that was busted in two, I just kept all the metal pieces off it. The coating I usually run into is dried cosmoline and cleans up pretty easily.
