Sounds like a rare and sweet rifle... though remember, the import ban took effect in 1989, so it may be illegal. I hate these stupid laws that do nothing but hurt gun owners. I have to say somethin like that every time I quote those stupid laws.

Going price for an SKS-D is 300ish. One set up like that could easily ask the price they did. Still not 100% sure it's legal though. You'd have to ask the hard questions, like imported parts compliance.

Whatever floats your boat, Jesse, but the only reason I'd take a folding stock off of a pre-ban is if I didn't like it, which is true. I wish Butler Creek had made SKS folders, or Choate, or Black Warrior. Those are some nice stocks. The only folders I've seen for the SKS are the ATI (ugly) and the Ramline (ugly, flimsy).
