Are 7000T stocks available for purchase anywhere? That should work with a 795 shouldn't it?

    Big Shrek: I'm leaning hard towards a 795SS. :)

    Thanks!

Hard to find...almsot as hard as the barrels.

But every once in a while someone doesn't like the look of the red/white/blue Laminate...

It's a straight fit, but the barrel channel is of course deeper, as the 7000 is a bull-barrel.

Best option is a Boyd's Thumbhole in the color you prefer.
Check their colors page, and if not in the Limited Items area, send them an Email.
When they get enough interest, they do a color run.

    Big Shrek,

Let me rephrase that. I didn't realize the T designation was a specific stock. What I meant was, are there any wood replacement stocks for other models that will work on a 795 or 7000 with out modification?

I love thumb hole stocks but those seem to be only for Model 60's.

    Thanks!

    Ah, IC.

Wood...not really. I think DIP still has one 795 stock that was modded from the Boyds.

    Synthetic? 3.
    ATI's Dragunov.
    Numrich's model 70 Lockarm Stock.
    Bullpupstock.com's Model 70 Bullpup.

I imagine if we keep emailing Boyd's, like we did for the Model 60 stocks, eventually,
they'll make a 795 stock instead of us having to buy Model 60 stocks & mod 'em.

Although...it's a pretty darn easy mod.
When you use a coping saw to cut out the magwell, you take a piece of it and shape it
to fit the tube mag hole & glue it in.
Basic woodworking 101. There's even a detailed thread on it over at RFC.

Going back to the original...there were two model 7000 stocks.
    1. Synthetic for the 7000

    2. Red White & blue wood laminate for the 7000T

There were rumours of a 7000L, much like the 2000L, a laminate wood stock...not sure if we ever proved that one existed.

It would look like the 7000T, except brown ;)
