BE very careful!! If you don't know what you are doing you can make it very dangerous. I would recommend letting a professional handle it. If you just have to play with it yourself, don't use a file. A little goes a long way - think of it as polishing verses filing. As to what, it is the trigger and sear. Sometimes springs can make a big differnece in trigger pull as well.
thank you for that i have some skill for just an old engine bulder but yes im not going in there with a grinder and just cuting everything in half lol i just used file as a more broder word but thank you for looking out on my safty. the thing that is making it the stiffness is the main hammer spring.
