Yeah I know we had a topic on this last week but it looks like things have really heated up there. I don't think our gov'ts aproach is neither fair nor reasonable for Isreal. Did you know that out of 20 some countries in the region only one will allow p[alestinians to become citezens. - Isreal. The other arabs do not even want them. I guess its easier to recruit suicide bombers if they keep them poor and unwelcomed.

  2. Read the Bible. This is just part of the things that have to happen for the prophecys to come. Isreal is God's chosen people. Isreal will never be defeated in battle by anyone. But these things have to come to past. I honestly think that all the Arab states knew in advance about the attack on us on 9-11. Last year in the spring they all met together to as the news put it " a closed meeting to discuss other matters than the price of oil". And ain't it stange that just in the past 3-4 weeks they have had a meeting and were freindly to Iraq, and demanded that all santions against Iraq be lifted. This just happened overnight. It is a ploy to get us strung out in our commitment to be Isreal's ally. But there are a lot of things going on that we are not told. It's my belief that our goverment is not fooled for one minute about what is going on. Thank God that we have a president that is a God fearing man, and takes his oath seriously, to protect and defend the United States of America.

    the president

If Bush was really going to take his oath seriously he wouldn't have signed CFR "AKA incumbent protection act". But that is another story......

    :fuss: :stupid:

  4. hooker*** I agree with you on Read the Bible. I tried this approach back on 3-30-02 on another mid east crisis thread. In around about way I was accused of being a hypocrite, taking scripture out of context and dissagreement on which stage of revelations we are at now. Good Luck and God Bless.

This was the topic that Phacoprana is talking about.

  5. I also took the past posts (and my response) as being directed towards me since I also agree with the scriptures.

I remember when 'for God and country" was a motto to live by before it became 'prohibited' to link church and state. I still live by that motto regardless of the small thinking of those who think they need to be separated.

I find it interesting that those who perport that the two be separated are also generally on the side of liberals......yepper!

I respect others' opinions but when they also downgrade my comments by adding lashing comments about my opinions then I think it's crossed over to my side of the pasture...uh huh. And, in my pasture I ride the bull till it drops.

  6. Rave

    Rave G&G Evangelist

I saw a t-shirt is a department store with an American flag on it and a message telling it like it should be,after looking at it for a minite I though of how the message is so right and then how it really is.....
Let those who have died not to have died in vein,so far so good.... now here is unfortunitely how it is.....One nation, without God,and government of the government,by the government, and for the government.....Now that is truely pathetic!
Why do the American people keep supporting this situation?
The only conclusion I can come up with is their own personal, greedy, agendas.  :assult:

  7. You know Rave you are absolutely correct. Kind of a socialist situation!!! Well we can rest assured that God is still up there over looking everything that goes on.

I still reiterate my point, guys.

    No one knows for sure.

If you're a real Christian, what difference should it make when it comes?

Be careful what you say to others, lest you cause them to lose faith.

It's good to be concerned, but don't jump to any conclusions, or at least qualify your statements. Your witness will lose credibility if you make statements that don't bear up later.

    Just tryin to help out.

  9. Well*** as for me I'm sticking to my guns.*** the Holy Bible.

I think that we could all do with more reading. I'm in no position to say that you're prediction is wrong. I really don't know either.

I think what's more important is what you do with the info that it contains. If you believe in it, as a lot of us here do, then you're charged with doing certain things with the knowledge you derive from it. Jesus set out some fairly clear guidelines about what to do with what you learned from Him. Part of this talks about how to pray, part of it talks about how to live our lives. Part of it talks about how to witness to others.

The problem with witnessing from Revelations is that this particular book was written from a highly subjective experience. It is very figurative, and therefore requires a high level of knowledge about the rest of God's word to be interpreted correctly. Even then, specific references were deliberately left out. Jesus said that no one would know the time, and so the use of Revelations to further our Christian beliefs has to be tempered with and preceded by more substantive concepts in Christian doctrine. There have been so many "Scholars" that have interpreted this book to predict end times that many have questioned whether it even belongs in the bible anymore. A century ago, evangelists traveling the countryside were preaching Revelations based doom and gloom so much that whole communities were divesting themselves of all their properties in preparation for the coming tribulation. When it didn't come as expected, these people were left with little or nothing and were also ridiculed for being so gullible. Imagine what happened to their faith!

That's why I caution any who make these kind of public statements. If you are a Christian, regardless of what denomination you align to, then you should be prepared, at least spiritually, for what is to come, regardless of the hour. If you're not going to be one of those with a tatoo on your head, then maybe you'll be one of the 144,000. Or maybe, as Paul said, you won't be here anymore at all. I'd rather be looking to the man who's walked beside me all my life than constantly over my shoulder.

  11. BenP, I could'nt agree with you more. Yes there is only one who knows the time of ending time, and that is the one who was here before time and the one who will always be after time, ALLMIGHTY GOD!

Hey, whatever floats yer boat. Not everyone shares our belief, brother, but I'll admit, it's nice seeing so many others with conviction. Just be careful not to step on too many toes with it. It's always better to lead by example (even leading them to the truth) than by words.
