I have owned this gun for 20 years, and received it for my 16th birthday, It is the only gun i take to the deer hunting forest,It is a featherlight with a seriel number which puts it manufacture date to 1970...does anyone know or how do i find out how many 16 guage ithaca produced that year,,,,total number of model 37s is roughly 59,000 total, with im guessing the majority of those being the 12 gauge, and 20 , I was told by my Dad it was a bit of a rare gun with low numbers that year being built, I was wondering how rare. How do i get this number anyone know???. Oh and by the way. I Shoot deer with it every year , awesome gun .No i wont sell it if anyone was wondering it is going to be a family heirloom, passed to my son when he is 16. just like to have a bit more history with the numbers to tell him.and value? Priceless to me just curious what the rest of the world thinks its worth.
