    I have a Marlin Model 99 M-1.

it may have been tinkered with in the past. the tube feed holds 9+1 [IMG]

any information for total break down and cleaning?

if the tube has been shortened, are there replacement ones?

    thanks.
note: I have the front sight. I removed it due to its reluctance to stay on.

A 9 rd magazine is correct for your M-99 M-1. It's basically a regular M-99 w/shortend mag tune and mil type sights to resemble an M-1 Carbine.

Breakdown is identical to the classic Model 60 - contact Marlin for a manual.
Looks like you still have the rear iron sight? Hang on to it - resell value is higher with the sight! Many owners lose the rear sight when they scope the rifle.
    I still have mine too!

Great looking stock too! Nice wood.
