I have that model that I bought at Big 5, a sporting goods store in the Western US. It comes with the 28 inch barrel, and the 18.5 inch 'home-defense' barrel, right?
You are correct that those are not threaded and do not come with chokes. However, I believe that you can buy a Moss. 500 model that does come with the threaded barrel and possibly a few chokes. It wouldn't be the 'combo' though. You can also buy aftermarket barrels with the different chokes. I hope this helps.

It's a pretty good gun, by the way. I use it to blast clays, birds, and the ocassional squirrel or rabbit. But you might spend another $80-100 and get something even better.

For example, I bought my 500 combo at that store for like 250 out the door, including background check, on sale. I was in there a while ago, checking out the mil-surps they have and this guy had a much nicer one that was only 340 or something, plus it came with a few chokes. I wish now I had spent a little more.

I can't be the only one who wants to see a picture :D
I have a beloved girlfriend who likes guns on a beginner level, and can appreciate a quality C&R (Mauser.) This is a result of me, she was wonderful even before she got into guns.

Other girls like UV's sister merely get a thumb's up. Besides, I'm 23.
