I must say I haven't inspected a DPMS that didn't look like good quality and price. I was overjoyed to hear they were making 308 ARs, now Bushmaster's stepped up too. Armalite did well to introduce a factory model in a 300 short magnum (though I'd have preferred the WSM to the SAUM... I think Remington offered an incentive). And now so will DPMS.


• 20†Bull barrel, fluted

Method of Operation:
• Gas operated rotating bolt

Bolt & Carrier:
• Chrome plated 8620 steel bolt carrier, heat treated and plated per Mil Spec.
• Phosphated steel bolt, heat treated and plated per Mil Spec.

• None (mounting optics only)

• Empty - 12.5 lbs

• 39.6â€

Upper Receiver:
• Thick walled, extruded from 6066-T6 aluminum
• Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon coated black
• Snag free design, smooth side look
• No dust cover
• No shell deflector
• No forward assist
• Right hand ejection
• Raised Picatinny rail for easy scope mounting

Lower Receiver:
• Milled from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum
• Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon coated black
• Standard A-15 trigger group
• Integral trigger guard
• Magazine release button

• Skeletonized black Zytel mil spec w/trap door assembly

• Ribbed aluminum free float
• 2.24†Outside diameter, Vented

Scope and bipod not included.
Each rifle comes with 2- 9 rd. Magazines, 1- Nylon Web Sling and 1- Cleaning Kit
