MSH pin

    Simple question, may sound stupid, but...The main spring housing pin has one end that is concave. When punching it out, is there a certain direction you should punch it out or does it matter? TIA Eric

    As a general rule pins are taken out from left to right.

    Excuse me, Wes, but just about the only pin on the Browning 1911 that is not removed right-to-left is the MSH pin. I put my MSH pins in with the concave side facing to the right, so they're all the same, because you can drift it out in either direction.

    the pin is unidirectional-punch it out any way you want.
