My No.1 Mk.3 just barely makes the Field gauge.

Just checked my .303 Enfield with a set of Yankee Engineers headspace gauges. It passed the "Go", failed the "No-Go" and just barely passed the "Field" gauge. It's kind of sad, but I'm glad I bought the gauges. I can use them again when I try to swap bolt heads to bring the rifle into No-Go spec. Wonder If I can fire it safely as is?

If it passed the FIELD gauge, it's safe to shoot. You may experience a little stretching, but that's all. Have fun with it!

    Safe Shooting!
