I'm going to be selling this gun for a friend and need to know what it's worth.

Any help would be appreciated. Any idea the year it was made?

You have what appears to be a Grade BE Model 1894 Hammerless.
Does it have auto ejectors ? Or extractors only...
Value By the Blue Book is $3000 to $3500...95% to 98%...For a 12 Ga.
10 Ga. and 16 Ga. command a bit more and extractors only add 15%...
I estimate it was made around 1908.
The Grade is the "B" Stamp...
If the barrels are Ordnance Steel...Add 25% to the above values !!!
    VERY NICE find....

$3,750 to $4,500 is my best estimate for 95%-98%...Then add 15% if it doesnt have ejectors...
NOW...This is if the gun is all original, and Not Refinished....
Hard for me to tell from a Photo but it looks very good from here.
    I hope this helps you.

  6. lol thats a lot of coin for a shot gun but givin the age and the condition im sure its more then worth it. I am kind of currious what did you pay for that when you picked it up?

I do not own the gun yet. The guy really doesn't know yet what he wants for it. It was his dads and the guy is moving to another state and wants to sell it.

I think he said he would take 1000.00 for it but I'm not sure what it's worth.

It looks very nice. I have additional pics of the gun.

  8. Are you buying it or just selling it? If your not looking at picking it up for your self you might wanna tell him to keep it. Stuff like that tends to have more sentimental value then money and he might miss it when its gone even if he hates guns.
