Hi, I have just aquired an SKS and would like to know what kind it is and maybe the year. I have attached a couple of pics. The serial is 0-614711. I have not seen any stamps or markings on this rifle. Can anyone help? Thanks

With the correct magazine, they are currently selling for around $350.

With that mag in the sks. You need to know if that sks is 922r compliant. Go to the top of sks forum and read sticky about what you can change and still be legal. You don't won't to be doing FED time for not knowing right from wrong.

I would get a fixed 10 rnd mag for that. Looks like a nice gun.

you know is a Yugo 59/66 because the grenade launcher at the muzzle. Can't quite tell from the pic, but it looks like it might have the ladder type flip up grenade sight on the front too.

Jason, that is beautiful, and a wise decision not to shoot it. I have a few the same way, left in the cosmoline and un-issued as that one is. One happens to be an F series like yours.
