Should be a review in the glossy rags soon. Let ya know. take it for what its worth. As for me that CS-9 keeps chuggin along. Not a bad gun but I was not aware at the time of purchase it was considered a "value line" gun. Not positive just read that on S&W Forum.

I own 2 of the early S&W 10MM pistols. They are the "Tanks", of the 10mm line. One S&W 1006 and my favorite S&W 1026 made for the West Virginia HP.
The S&W 1026 is marked Will fire without magazine on slide. That makes it
a police Mdl. The S&W 1026 was a failure and West Virginia return them to
S&W. The factory reworked them into great 10MM handguns.

It's not on my list. I traded off a S&W M&P .40 since I sucked at firing the thing on target. I don't need a bigger load on a small light frame.

I like my S&W M&P 9mm for short stuff, and my Colt 1911 .45 ACP for most everything else.

I'm a bit eager to feel one up. My G20 is all decked out, and I doubt the aftermarket will reach the same level for the M&P10, but it sure would be nice to have a plain Jane 10mm again.
