So we went to the gunshow today. I was able to pickup 5 tins of #11 percussion caps at $10 a tin. I also picked up this beauty for $500. I thought it was a decent deal. 1862 Colt Pocket Police BP revolver. It's a 2nd generation. Brand new in box. Not sure what year this was made. I looked up the serial number on Colts website but it didn't list it. Any help what year this may have been produced? Thanks for any and all help!

Yea, I haven't been able to find any anywhere. This guy had a 10 tin box of CCI's so I bought half of them. Should last me a while. Lol

Anyone know if I should I use 375 or 380 balls for this? Does it matter? The manual recommends 378. Haven't seen any of those.

Yea it was just barely flush when I bought it. It was very hard to get out. I actually could pound the wedge in but the further it went, the more it locked up the cylinder. It didn't take much sanding to finally get it to go in with a good snug fit.
