Have wanted another ever since I sold my K9, 4 years ago. Trying to decide between a P380, which I'd carry all the time. Or, a CM9 down side ,may have to carry IWB, might get too bothersome in a pocket. Since they're both belly guns, the difference in caliber is not a factor to me, quality, reliability, and size, will be the determining factor, and possibly price, maybe. Have handled the 380, but not had a chance to shoot one, never even seen a CM9. Anyone have or shoot both ? Opinions ?

For a OWB holster I love real leather. I have several, ( 4 ) made by Ray at Lobogunleather, great prices and very high quality !!! You have to e-mail him, he had to stop taking call-in orders, said he just couldn't get any work done. I have one of his " enhanced" pancakes, with the tunnel-type loops, for my glocks, SUPER comfortable wearing all day.

I just purchased a CM9 and shot it today for the first time. Took me a little to get used to the long trigger pull. But so far love it. I only put 50 rounds thru it due to the main reason for going was taking for friend for his first pistol shooting experience. I pocket carried the CM9 and it worked out fine.

I let my friend shoot my 22 and then my M&P 9. He shot about 200 rounds combined.

Yeah, my 442 is going back to ankle holster duty. This CM9 is the same size as the snubbie, yet more ammo and flatter in my pocket, weight is close, only 1 oz. more loaded. I know Kahr recommends 200rds. as break-in. That's just not enough for me to depend on a carry gun, I've got to have 500rds. with no failures, before I trust any pistol. I know I'm old, and contary.... but at least I've only had 2 holes patched up and I'm still here, the other's aren't !!!!

Gun returned last Thursday, Sat. shot it again.... same story after 1 mag. full, 6 rounds, the front of the mag follower broke again, ( 3rd. time ). Slide failed to lock open. The gun had been back to Kahr twice. AS of 5pm today, I no longer own it. The CM line while less expensive, ( not cheap ), just seems to have QC problems, never had any kind of failure with my K9.

Nope, not a mag issue. Ran great, no failures the first 396 rounds, then broke the front leg off the mag follower, FIVE times in the next 61 rounds using 3 different mags. I called, sent it back, same thing, broke 2 mag followers in 17 rounds, went back, and like I said, still unreliable. This all happened with 4 brands of FMJ. I can't keep a pistol that I don't expect to work when I press the trigger. Loved the K9 I had, ( wish I still had it ), guess my CM9 skipped QC that day. Really the only thing that bothers me is the fact that I returned it twice and they still didn't fix it. When it comes to small guns the only ones I'm sure of are snubbies.
