well Im just a little torn on this subject, Ill pack and do the right paper work, maybe but, I can just see me getting cuffed for packing a weapon during a ticket for double parking or some such, by leos, personaly I think leos have enough problems in thier daily life, without me giving them more head aches, Id like 1* opinion on this, or other leos before I start the process

I'm not an LEO...yet. But if you are given the right to carry, by all means exercise it! Unless you're committing a violent crime or some felony or something it doesn't matter if you're armed or not. And you seem to be the type to not carry out that type or crime anyways...armed or not.

hey, I thought you were banned from owning handguns by wifey...?

Thats always a consideration, whether you have a gun or not. But having the gun will make you more cognisent of the law and want to follow it a bit more closely.

Whenever you have an encounter with a LEO, tell them first and foremost that you are armed. Let them decide how to proceed. I've been pulled over numerous times when armed and every time they say the same thing to me: just don't reach for it.

You'll be fine. Enjoy your new freedom!

I have the same advice here as Lenny 7mm your fine -- when I drove cross country I carried in AZ, TX, OK, AR and of course TN no problems and no stops -- even chatted with one in AZ on the side of the road (I40 west of Flagstaff - I was broke down). He saw my 45 in the shoulder rig and just asked what custom work I had done on the gun.
