NPM Carbine

  1. Hi all-

I have a National Postal Meter Carbine. Serial # is 4.3 mil and it has the "U" stamped on the heel under the serno. From what I recall, doesn't that mark mean either Underwood or US&S made the rifle? Also, I forgot the year the serno falls into, was it '43 or '44? The stock was really beat up, but when I received it, I had Rick B do his work on it. It has a Marlin barrel and I believe the oprod is Rockola. It is a mixmaster, but, I have a representation of a WWII Carbine.

    Thanks for your answers-
