Dad accused of leaving toddler at crack house Associated Press Oct. 15, 2002 12:45 PM GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A Michigan man is accused of leaving his 3-year-old son in a crack house for at least 11 hours while he tried to get more cocaine. James Jackson is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They say he called police after about five hours to report his son missing, telling them that he'd been at a crack house, but couldn't remember where it was. The boy was found unhurt after a man and woman dropped him off Sunday morning at a church. The boy apparently spent Saturday night in the drug den. The charge against Jackson is a misdemeanor, with a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail.
