    I'm Just curious... but very sorry about your accident.

    That's one painful looking hand! I'm really sorry that you were bitten.

    How long ago did this event happen? Where was your hand when it was bitten? Were you by yourself? How long did it take for the fingers to turn black? Was the snake killed?

    That is a terrible wound. Hopefully, finger transplants will be possible in the near future.

  7. Gezz, Bet that was painful. I got bit 10 years ago by a cotton mouth while moving dirt clods from the back of my fence after a contractor cut swell for drainage. Moccosin caught me in right index finger middle knuckle. Poision stayed in the lymph system. Swelled-up like Hulk Hogan only on 1/2 of upper body. Didn't loose any skin.
    This Labor Day weekend at deer lease killed 4'10" rattlesnake. Had 9 buttons. Beautiful creature.
