To revive this thread...No, reguler 1911 grips will not fit the Para P-14. I'm having a slight issue with the magazine release that may possibly be corrected by thicker grip panels, do I asked a Para guy.
Para has only one style of replacement panels...priced at $75...I need to keep adding change to the change jar.

FYI
I just replaced my factory grips with Hogue Finger Rest Wrap-around grips. They give a nice feel to the gun and having not shot it yet with these grips on it I think the finger rests will provide better control. I'll find out tomorrow. Excellent fit.

Didn't get out to my range like I had hoped. Too much going on at the same time...lol
What surprised me id these grips don't seem to have changed the feel of the wide grip but they sure feel more comfortable.
I'll do a report soon...thanks for asking.
